2Claim (free, 30 seconds)

Submit a quick claim form. We verify ownership against your domain or LinkedIn. Once approved (usually 1-2 working days), your listing flips to Verified with a clickable backlink + self-edit access.

3Upgrade to Featured (optional)

From your dashboard, click 'Upgrade to Featured' next to your listing and pick monthly or annual. Stripe Checkout handles the payment. Your listing flips to Featured across every relevant page within seconds.

What's the difference between Unclaimed, Verified, and Featured?
Unclaimed is the default state. Every UK marketing agency we know about is listed automatically. The agency has no control over the listing. Verified means a rep from the agency has claimed it (free), which unlocks self-edit, the verified pill, a clickable link to your website (a real SEO backlink from AgencyIndex), and buyer enquiry routing. Featured is the paid tier on top: Verified plus pinned-to-the-top placement across every archive page with an elevated orange-trim card.
Why does claiming earn me a clickable website link?
AgencyIndex is a content-rich UK domain that buyers actively use to find agencies. A clickable backlink from a verified listing here is genuine SEO value, and we want that value to flow to agencies who've taken ownership of their listing, not to orphan profiles that haven't engaged. Unverified listings still show your website as plain text (visitors can copy/paste), but the link won't be clickable until you claim.
What does Featured placement actually do?
Featured listings sit above free ones in every relevant archive page on the directory: the UK index at /uk/agency, every service segment landing (e.g. SEO agencies), every industry, every location, every ownership-model page, and every cross-indexed combo (e.g. SEO agencies in London). The card is visually elevated with an orange trim, a 'Featured' pill, and a stronger drop shadow. No rotation, your card always shows.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No. Monthly is cancel-anytime; annual is a single yearly payment that won't auto-renew if you cancel before the renewal date. Both are managed from your Stripe billing portal inside the dashboard.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes, from your billing portal. Stripe handles the proration automatically so you're never double-charged.
Do you charge VAT?
Not currently. AgencyIndex is operated by OmniFound Limited (UK), which is below the £90,000 VAT registration threshold. Once we cross it we'll register and prices will include VAT at 20%. We'll give you 30 days' notice before that happens.
What happens if my card payment fails?
Stripe will retry the card automatically over ~3 weeks (their standard dunning schedule). During that window your listing keeps its Featured status and your dashboard shows a 'Payment failed' badge prompting you to update your card. If all retries fail, the listing drops back to Free at the end of the dunning window.
Can I list multiple agencies on one account?
Yes. Each agency is upgraded independently, one Featured subscription per listing. Your Stripe customer + payment method is shared across them, so there's one card on file and one consolidated billing portal showing every active subscription.
What if I want to be removed from the directory entirely?
Email [email protected] and we'll delist the agency within 1-2 working days. We don't refund partial periods of Featured, but you can cancel mid-cycle so it doesn't renew.
